Epic Fail

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, I've been too busy with other stuff. Don't worry though, a big update to my blog is on its way! In the mean time, check out this epic fail: I never knew that Hamlet is a literary device. Can someone please explain it to me?

So Long, And Thanks for All the Fish

I've had a good run writing on this blog but the time has come for me to stop writing. I lack both the time and willpower to continue. But hey, all good things must come to an end. Au revoir, dear blog viewer.

Edit: after some consideration, I've decided to continue this blog. I will not be updating it much though as I am currently working on another project: my own "choose your own adventure" style game (link in sidebar).

Technical Difficulties

For some reason the comments box for any of my posts is not showing up, which is a real shame since I just added the "one word story" section to my blog. I will try to find out what the problem is and fix it ASAP.

Edit: fixed.

P.S. To whoever ticking the "not awesome" option for all of my blog posts, may I ask why? If you think my blog sucks then why not throw a little constructive criticism my way so I can figure out ways to improve it?

Spring 2011 Anime Impressions

Good day blog reader, in this blog post I will be briefly discussing my impressions on the anime airing this season that I have watched so far. If you agree or disagree with what I think then feel free to leave a comment in the comments section of this post explaining what you agree/disagree with and why. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, this post is currently incomplete. I will be updating it periodically though and will try to complete it as soon as possible.

Note: This post is only going to cover the overall aspects of the shows that I am watching. If you would like a per episode review of the shows then check out the site listed in my "Other Awesome Sites" panel on the right hand side of the blog.

Anime that I have watched will be listed in alphabetical order. If you want to see what I am watching that is not currently listed in this post then check out my anime list here. Alright, here goes...

A Certain Awesome Experience With Exposure Therapy

In this blog post I will be telling you about my first-hand experience with the use of exposure therapy for the treatment of phobias. I am a firm believer that the best way to get over your fears is to tackle them head on and this is basically the way exposure therapy works: by making the patients confront their fears directly.

Grammar Question

Edit: disregard this post; my question has been answered. It is B.

Today at school a peer of mine and I spent our time in class editing an essay that another student wrote. Everything was going fine until we reached a sentence that we disagreed on how the edit should be done. After much discussion, we were unable to reach a compromise. He thinks that the sentence should be written one way and I, the other. Now I can't remember the actual sentence that was used in the essay but I will try to provide you with an example to help you get the general idea of it.

Suppose there is a convenience store that sells food, lets call it Bombay Bazaar. Now typically, the main purpose of food is to be fed to people, to keep them well nourished and prevent them from dying.Yes, I am aware that there exists "junk food" that is not healthy for you at all but for the sake of this blog post let us assume that all foods are meant to be healthy; that is, except for food sold at Bombay Bazaar. The food at Bombay Bazaar actually does the opposite of what food is intended to do; instead of providing nutrients to people to keep them alive and well, it actually kills them.

Now my question to you is which of the following sentences would be grammatically correct in describing this situation?

A. Food from Bombay Bazaar does the opposite of what food is supposed to do: feed you instead of kill you.

B. Food from Bombay Bazaar does the opposite of what food is supposed to do: kill you instead of feed you.

A or B? Choose a letter and write it as a response to this post. Having an explanation justifying your choice would be nice.
